Been house hunting since April. After 5 + offers, we're finally approved for a house! June 14, 2009 - Confirmed that Sandalridge home is sold.  June 15, 2009 - Found an apartment within 24 hours! It's the size of my bathroom... June 20, 2009 - Moving Sale -- we made a little over $800! Just enough to buy the sofa and bed from B's coworker (a $2000 value!) .  June 21, 2009 - Last day from my first home ever. First place I felt safe, first place I felt at home, first place that wasn't haunted.... hahah July 7, 2009 - Meeting with bank appraiser at our potential home. Dun, dun, DUN. July 9, 2009 - We're officially approved! We're going to be homeowners!!!! The madness begins as we frantically search for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity, tiles, appliances, etc... Great price for a bank owned home, but a whole lot of work! |
